Obecnie wolontariusze przygotowują warsztaty o swoich krajach dla uczniów szkół ponadpodstawowych, już niedługo będziecie mogli zaprosić ich do swoich placówek.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
Hello,
My name is Elena, I am 25 years old and I came from Romania to Poland with all my enthusiasm to discover Warsaw trough an amazing eleven months E.S.C. adventure at teh Polish Robert Schuman Foundation.
I will be working in the office and preparing workshops on different topics for schools all around Poland, promoting volunteering and creating materials for Schuman Press. I expect this to be a challenge and a chance in the same time.
I would like to discover more about Poland and polish culture, to get some insights about the workflow in an NGO and to develop certain professional skills such as event planning, public speaking or pedagogical skills. I also see this project as an opportunity to travel a lot, to discover myself and the others volunteers and cultures, having fun is always on the plan 🙂
Before joining this project I was engaged in many volunteering actions in my home country such as organizing charity events, cultural events or working with youth on topics like leadership, education or social integration.
Formal education was a choice based on following my passions and hobbies as well. That’s why in 2014 I decided to start a Bachelor Degree in Philology at Babes Bolyai University where I studied Norwegian and French languages and literatures. More than that I usually spend my free time reading, travelling or going to the theatre.
Primum non nocere or keep your brain (b)right and focus on what you can control are two of my mottos which I will bring with me at the office every day.
******************************************************************************[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]My Name is Hannes and I am 19 years old. I was born in Innsbruck and lived nearby in a small village. After finishing my school I have started to study political science. I have studied for two semesters and now I decided that I want to volunteer and therefore I paused my study. I wanted to volunteer at an organisation which is focused on imparting European values among young people. Because it is important to know what these values are and why they are important for all of us. These fundamental values are respect for human dignity and human rights, freedom, democracy, equality and the rule of law. When I was searching for an suitable organisation I found the Schuman Foundation, which shares the same philosophy as I do.
I want to add a some information about myself so that everybody has a better picture about myself. I am a curious person who wants to discover something new, that’s a reason why I am here in Warsaw. Here I have the chance to get to know another culture and way of living. I think there are some differences between the Austrian and Polish culture but off course a lot of similarities. I really enjoy to discover as many places of the world as possible. I like to be on the outside and enjoy the nature. I am a really passionate reader, I especially like Thrillers. I also like to try out new things and be open-minded for nearly everything.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
