Witam, drodzy czytelnicy i goście!
Jeśli macie ochotę zaprosić wolontariuszy Schumana do swojej szkoły skorzystacie z następnego linku "Spotkanie z wolontariuszem EVS".

Hello, dear readers and guests!
This is the page where we – EVS volunteers in the Schuman Foundation can share our impressions, thoughts and ideas. At the moment there are two of us working in the Foundation’s office - Vitalik from Ukraine and Guénolé from France. Except exciting office job, few times per month we do nice presentations, workshops and lessons for schools all around Poland, sometimes very far away from Warsaw. And we are writing here about it, but not only :)If you want to invite Schuman volunteers to your school use the following link "Spotkanie z wolontariuszem EVS".

For some of us, yesterday night was a long night. You probably already know everything about it: François Hollande is the new president of France and Nicolas Sarkozy quits politics. Many people attended to the electoral evening organized yesterday by the volunteers. And journalists! Thank you everybody for coming!

It can be surprise for you Dear readers, that sometimes not only Schuman volunteers come to schools but schools come to Schuman volunteers, more precisely to Schuman Foundation to get know our organization and great team from inside.
For this time 2 groups for 20 pupils each had luck to visit Foundation. II Liceum Ógólnokształcące im. Piotra Firleja – does it sound worthily? They made the hard way(more than 150km) from Lubartów, small town not far from Lublin, to Warsaw just to see Polish Robert Schuman Foundation’s weekdays and some local attractions as Seim and Senate buildings.

This was doomed to happen at some point. Everybody knew it, and so did I. Still, it took me somehow by surprise.

In an empty parking lot, near a bus station, somewhere in a mid-sized city in central Poland, two guys are waiting for a gray Opel. Some young people are being controlled by the police on the background [THIS really happened; I think that one of the young guys was smoking a cigarette in a forbidden area]. Sirens are echoing here and there [here I am exaggerating a little bit]. On the foreground, the two guys are staring at each passing car with close attention. No one moves and of course no one smiles. The scene should last at least 2 or 3 minutes in the movie, which would stand for 15 minutes in real life.
